2A12 aluminum alloy is a kind of hard aluminum with high strength, which can be strengthened by heat treatment.2A12 aluminum alloy has good weldability and tends to form intergranular crack in gas welding and argon arc welding.2A12 aluminum alloy has good machinability after cold hardening.

Magnesium Mg:1.2~1.8, zinc Zn: 0.30, manganese Mn:0.30~0.9,
Ti: 0.15, Ni: 0.10, Fe: 0.000~ 0.500
Iron + nickel Fe+Ni: 0.000~ 0.500
Note: single: 0.05;Total: 0.10 or less
USES: mainly used for making all kinds of high load of parts and components (but not including stamping parts forgings) such as plane frame parts, rigging, bulkhead, ribs, SPAR, rivets and other working parts under 150 ℃.
