The strength of TA2 titanium alloy products after heat treatment is about 50% ~ 100% higher than that after annealing.High temperature and high strength, can under the temperature of 400 ℃ ~ 500 ℃ to work for a long time, its thermal stability is inferior to alpha titanium alloy.

Chemical composition of TA2:

Titanium (Ti) residue, iron (Fe) less than or equal to 0.30, carbon (C) less than or equal to 0.10

Nitrogen (N) is less than or equal to 0.05, hydrogen (H) is less than or equal to 0.01[1]5, and oxygen (O) is less than or equal to 0.25.

Application of TA2:

Titanium alloy is mainly used in the production of aerospace engine compressor parts, aircraft structural parts.Titanium and its alloys have been used in the general industry for the production of electrodes for the electrolytic industry, condensers for power stations, heaters for oil refining and desalination, and environmental pollution control devices.Titanium and its alloys have become a kind of corrosion resistant structural materials.In addition, it is also used to produce hydrogen storage materials and shape memory alloys.
