Classification of molybdenum
1. Pure molybdenum rod: molybdenum content is more than 99.95%.
2. High temperature molybdenum rod (molybdenum-lanthanum alloy rod): containing 0.4-1.2% lanthanum, molybdenum content is the remainder except impurities.
3. TZM molybdenum rods: 0.4-0.6Ti, 0.07-0.12Zr, 0.01-0.05C.
Application of molybdenum
1. Used for manufacturing electric vacuum devices and parts of electric light source
2. Suitable for processing ion implanted parts
3. Used as high temperature heater and high temperature structural parts
4. Electrodes used in glass and refractory fibre industry as furnace electrodes, working in glass melt at 1300 C, long service life
